I’m studying for my Art class and don’t understand how to answer this. Can you help me study? What are Exterior and Interior Contour Lines?Exterior lines delineate the outside shape of an object. Imagine shining a light at an object so its shadow is cast on a flat surface. If one were to trace the outside edge of the cast shadow, the resulting drawn line would be an exterior line.Interior lines delineate the inside details of an object. If the object is a hand with the fingers spread out then all the lines inside the hand, creases, fingernails, veins, etc., would comprise the interior lines.Pure contour line drawings are rendered with lines only. No shading of light/dark values is added to articulate volume. In this second exercise, you will be drawing a minimum of two small objects using only exterior/interior contour lines. Unlike Exercise #1, you can look at both your paper and the object. You are drawing freehand, so do not use any drafting tools (rulers, templates, compass, triangle, etc.) This exercise will help improve your skill sets, particularly developing steady eye-hand coordination and examining the nuances and details of objects in a concentrated and patient manner.High School Art Lessons – Contour Drawing: The Shoe (July 25, 2014):Contour Drawing: The Shoe (Links to an external site.)Minimize VideoMaterials Needed18” x 24” Newsprint Pad/Drawing Board
2B Drawing Pencil
Eraser (white plastic or kneaded)
Pencil Sharpener
InstructionsRemove one sheet of paper from your newsprint pad.Be careful not to tear the paper unevenly as you remove it from the pad.
The sheets are attached to the pads with an adhesive binding that can make it difficult to pull the sheets off cleanly. I suggest pulling the sheet slowly and carefully from the adhesive binding.
Attach one sheet to your drawing board for the second exercise and follow the instructions below to create a sheet of drawings combining the exterior/interior line.
Unlike the “blind’ contour exercise you are now allowed to look at the paper as you draw.
Create a minimum of two Contour Line drawings of small objects i.e. – watch, sunglasses, purse, wallet, toy, shoe, etc.Draw at least two different views of the objects you choose.
Try to render them as close to life-size as possible.
Both drawings should be on one side of the newsprint paper (do not use the back.)
The drawings of the objects can be placed anywhere on the page.
Draw each object for as long as you need to include as much linear detail as possible.
Vary the Type/Quality and Character of the lines used. The shape of the objects chosen will either be Organic, Geometric, or some combination of both. (see InMod E-Lecture Part 2 for term definitions.)
Submission InstructionsTake a photo of the drawing with an 18-inch rulerThe ruler should be next to the outside of any side of your painting with the numbers visible. Do not place the ruler within the artwork.

I need support with this Art question so I can learn better.Write an essay in the following topic: The Age of the Renaissance witnessed a new secularization of society, replacing the God-centered Universe of the Middle Ages with the Human-centered world of the 16thcentury. No longer was the church seen as the central authority to give life meaning. Humanists viewed human beings as noble creatures, capable of achieving fulfillment in the expanding world in which they lived. With this new orientation came the realization that man’s nature also could be rude, selfish, and even destructive. Discuss the ways in which we see the emergence of the modern individual who is aware of the challenges to the humanist view of man’s nobility and goodness. Illustrate your viewpoint with specific works from visual arts, music, and literature. Requirements:   |   .doc file | Essay | 3 pages, Single spaced

ARTS 352NOTE: Each thread must be at least 300 words, demonstrate course-related knowledge, and be supported by biblical principles.Discussion Forum 1Topic: What Is Branding? In today’s society, the term “branding” is often misinterpreted. People often view visuals such as logos or physical materials as brands. While these items are important components of the brand, they do not carry the weight of branding at large. Branding is more how people perceive a product. For example, look at a Nike shoe. The shoe itself is not the brand. It is the item that is manufactured. The brand is the idea of the product, the emotional relationship a person has with the product to develop an overall perception. Therefore, branding is more than just the product itself: it is how a person engages with it. In your own experience as a designer, have you ever seen amazing products with weak branding? Describe your findings and share with your peers. Provide images and articles to support your discussion.Discussion Forum 2Topic: Telling Your Story in a Noisy WorldIn today’s society, there are over 325 million mobile subscriptions. When mobile subscribers are using their devices, almost half of them are networking on social media. If you were to go out into a public space and look around you, you would find at least one person using a device. That person is likely making a tweet, double-tapping a picture, or updating a status. Advertisers understand the significance of smart phones and are constantly developing and pushing mobile ads to reach the masses. Advertisers and companies everywhere are challenged with the task of developing materials that will stand out over all the noise. One way to stay above the clutter is to make your message crystalline clear and simple. How might churches tell their stories in a clear and effective way to reach those who are unchurched or who may be looking for a new church home?Discussion Forum 3Topic: CollaborationTaking on the approach of collaboration can help a design team to achieve great results. Often in companies you will see departments that experience silos or take on a very individualized approach to tasks. When you embrace collaboration, it can open many facets of ideas and viewpoints to help develop a strong, successful design solution. In what ways have you benefited from collaboration in design or in other projects?Discussion Forum 4Topic: Asking the Right QuestionsWhen faced with a design challenge with a new client, one of the most challenging tasks can be asking the right questions. When approaching an organization, it is important to dig deep and really grasp an understanding of who they are. Consider every detail as you ask questions to help build a solid foundation or framework to help inform your research and design solutions. What are some important questions you have asked clients to help you navigate the design process? How have these questions benefited you in your process? Have you ever left a meeting feeling like you did not ask enough questions? How did not asking enough questions affect your design process?Discussion Forum 5Topic: The Big IdeaTaglines can help distill the essence of a brand and communicate to consumers the “big idea” of an organization. Share at least 3 of your favorite organization taglines. Explain how these taglines convey or do not convey the essence of the company.Discussion Forum 6Topic: Design IdentityNow that you have done a large amount of research and have created a design brief for your Brand Development Project, you move into the process of development. When designing identity, it is your responsibility as the designer to pull together all the valuable information and generate a symbol that best communicates the essence of the company. Discuss and share examples of effective organization logos that include mark and/or logotype. Why are these designs successful?
